In ‘slipper’ 3D print and silicone is used to create a form tool for casing a prototype for a slipper made from biofoam. A material created by Natural Material Studio for FRAMA.

The form is made from 2 parts in silicone and a 3rd from polymer. When closed, the casting core leaves the exact distance all around the shape that is needed for the shoe. The finished slipper can be cast in one single piece.
